Proceedings 4th International Congress of Eurasian Archaeology (1-5 October, 2012, Agsu, Azerbaijan).
The book of proceedings of 4th International Congress of Eurasian Archaeology (1-5 October, 2012, Agsu, Azerbaijan) was worked up by Dr. Fariz Khalilli in January, 2015 and published in Science and Education Printing House.

 AzerTag reports that during the last day of the conference which was attended by representatives of archaeological research centers, state officials, historians and international tourism experts from Turkey, Russia, Italy, Uzbekistan and other countries, archaeological tourism, archaeological and ethnographic tourism development perspectives were discussed. 

 AzerTag reports that, development of archaeology science, outcomes of last explorations and development perspectives of archaeological and ethnographic tourism in Eurasian region are discussed. Scientists, archaeologists and ethnographers from Turkey, Russia, Italy, Uzbekistan and other countries participated at the discussions.

  The participants of the international conference had first been in medieval Agsu town complex situated in 4-5 meter south-east of the city. A concert program of rich repertoire consisted of folklore samples was held. Chief of Agsu Archaeological Expedition of National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (NASA) Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography, Doctor of Historical Sciences Gafar Jabiyev gave comprehensive information to the conference participants on archaeological research conducted in medieval Agsu town and the outcomes.

 4th International Congress of Eurasian Archaeology started on 2nd October, 2012 by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism in collaboration with “MIRAS” Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage in Azerbaijan and Dokuz Eylul University of Center for Studies on Caucasian and Central Asian Archaeology from Turkey.

 On 2 October, 2012 opening ceremony of 4th International Congress of Eurasian Archaeology, co-organized by Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Agsu region Executive Power, Dokuz Eylul University of Turkey Republic,  Center for Studies on Caucasian & Central Asian Archaeology and MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage will be held in Agsu town.

1-5 October, 2012

 Basic theme of this traditional event is development perspectives of archaeological and ethnographic tourism in Eurasian region. Opening ceremony of the event will be held on 2 October 2012 in Agsu town, medieval Agsu town archaeological complex with participation of diplomats, local and foreign scientific and cultural figures and media representatives.
